#2 Hermon-Dekalb Downs #7 St. Regis Falls

The Green Demons faced off against St. Regis Falls Saturday afternoon at Potsdam High School in the Class D-A-Rama. Hermon got out to a quick start in the first quarter using great transition buckets to push out to a 18-6 first quarter lead. In the second quarter the St. Regis Falls Saints came out tough. They only allowed Hermon two points in the entire quarter and trailed Hermon-Dekalb 20-15 at halftime. In the third the Green Demons turned up their play led by senior forward Jon Peters who had 16 points on the game. Hermon-Dekalb cruised out to a 38-21 lead after three. The Saints tried post a comeback in the fourth but could only cut the deficit down to nine. Hermon used clutch free-throw shooting to take the 53-35 win. Dylan Amo and Connor Whitton had 10 points for the Green Demons. Billy Labounty led St. Regis with 11 points.
